New Orleans Pelicans guard Lonzo Ball was revealed as contestant on FOX's The Masked Singer.
Ball just finished his first season with the Pelicans after joining the team as part of a trade that sent Anthony Davis to the Los Angeles Lakers.
Ball averaged a career-high 11.8 points per game along with 6.1 rebounds and seven assists per game in the 2019-20.
Ball was revealed as the character "Whatchamacallit" on the show which features celebrities in elaborate costumes and singing popular tunes for the panel of judges. Ball performed covers of rap songs like "I Wish" by Skee-Lo and "Money Maker" by Ludacris while on the show.
Ball is no stranger to performing as he's released two mixtapes, "Born 2 Ball" and "BBA"
Ball was revealed as a contestant on the show the same night he and his younger brother LaMelo Ball became the first brothers in NBA history to both be selected in the top five picks of the NBA Draft. LaMelo Ball was taken with the third overall pick by the Charlotte Hornets in the 2020 NBA Draft. Lonzo was the No. 2 pick in the 2017 draft.
