Video: Wanted carjackers spotted in Taco Bell drive-thru says NOPD


A security camera at a Taco Bell drive-thru on Chef Menteur Highway spots alleged carjacking suspects buying food in a stolen car says the New Orleans Police Department.

Investigators say the men seen in the video, allegedly stole the vehicle at gun-point in the 2200 block of Dreux Street on February 16. They were spotted the next day at the Taco Bell.

Police describe the driver as a black male wearing a dark blue or black hoodie with gold lettering, while the passenger was a black male wearing an Adidas beanie. The passenger was seen to have an assault rifle between his legs and the barrel can be observed in the video.
