The Phi Kappa Psi chapter at LSU is on suspension while the university investigates "potential violations of the LSU Code of Student Conduct," The Advocate reports.

The suspension means the fraternity cannot participate in any activities or even hold meetings.

LSU Police are investigating a possible hazing incident that led to a student's hospitalization.

Details of the incident weren't specified, but Baton Rouge District Attorney Hillar Moore told The Advocate that it looks "unbelievably similar" to the case of Max Gruver, and LSU freshman who died from alcohol poisoning in 2017.

Moore said the main difference in this case is that so far, people are cooperating with the investigation.
