Much cooler weather arrives for the weekend once Zeta is gone. Hurricane Zeta will hit Louisiana Wednesday evening, but once the storm passes, a cold front sweeps in and brings pleasantly cooler temperatures for the Halloween weekend.
WWLTV’s Dave Nussbaum says, “Thursday will be a beautiful day with plenty of sunshine. It will be much cooler, breezy and less humid with high temperatures in the upper 60s. This will be great weather for storm clean up and if we lose power. Thursday night will be clear, chilly and comfortable.
Lows north in the 40s and south in the 50s. Friday will be another beauty with more sunshine, cool temperatures and low humidity as high pressure sits over us. High temperatures will only be in the 60s. More pleasant weather is expected this weekend and it will feel like fall for Halloween. Saturday will be sunny and mild with highs around 70. It will be clear and cool/chilly for Trick-or-Treaters with temperatures in the 60s falling to the 50s.”
