See inside Thom Yorke of Radiohead's Sicilian wedding

Black and white snapshots capture the moment's grandeur beauty

Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke and Italian actress Dajana Roncione said, “I do” during a beautiful Sicilian wedding, last weekend. Italian Vanity Fair and la Repubblica report the ceremony took place at an eighteenth century villa in Sicily, adhering to COVID-19 protocols with 120 guests.

Photographer Greg Williams documented the occasion and posted photos of the happy couple on Instagram. One snapshot depicts Thom and Dajana sprawled across a lavish ottoman wearing peaceful smiles and wedding garb. “@thomyorke and @dajana_roncione chilling after tying the knot in Sicily last night,” the photographer captioned.

Greg then caught Roncione bounding down a narrow hall in pursuit of her husband. “Newlyweds @thomyorke and @dajana_roncione on Saturday night in Sicily,” the caption reads.

Thom mused with Vanity Fair moments before the ceremony saying, “Despite all the difficulties caused by the global pandemic, we are proud and happy to get married here in Sicily,” he said. “Sicily is Dajana's native island.”

The couple started dating in 2017, just two years after Yorke separated from his first wife, photographer Rachel Owen. They shared two children – Noah and Agnes. Rachel passed away in 2016 after a battle with cancer.

Yorke included Roncione in two recent projects; 2017’s music video for “Lift” and his 2019 short film ANIMA.

Radiohead have spent their COVID quarantine working on side projects, including a 1,000-piece jigsaw puzzle featuring the cover artwork for the band’s 2004 EP, Com Lag. The group has also offered fans a slew of live concert streams from their extensive archives.
