Radio.com Launches $10 Million Fund to Acquire Music Catalogs & Support under developed artists in Career Development, Streaming Growth, and Music Discovery Innovative Partnership Model Purchases Artist Catalogs at 2.5x Revenue Multiple While Continuing to Pay Artists for Streaming Growth Up to 4x Total Multiple. New York, NY– 12.15.25
Radio.com, the premier destination for new music discovery reaching nearly 220 million unique audiences across the USA, today announced the launch of a groundbreaking $10 million fund designed to support under developed artists in career development, streaming growth, and music discovery. This innovative partnership model establishes Radio.com as an exclusive partner with selected artists while ensuring creators retain control of their touring and merchandise revenue streams.
The Radio.com Artist Partnership Program works through a unique acquisition and revenue-sharing structure: Radio.com purchases select artist catalogs for 2.5x their last calendar year's streaming revenues and continues to pay artists a percentage of new streaming increases generated by Radio.com's promotional efforts, up to a total purchase multiple of 4x. This approach ensures artists benefit from Radio.com's vast distribution network while maintaining ownership of their live performance, merchandise income streams that develop as their careers flourish.
"We're investing in artist careers - starting with their catalogs to drive their promotion, get them heard by millions of more potential fans and to grow true fandom," said Paul Josephsen, Chief Operating Officer at Radio.com. "Our model recognizes that artists deserve to participate in the upside of their own success. When our promotion helps them grow, they continue to earn from that growth. It's a true partnership that starts with them getting paid for their streaming potential and helps them grow fan bases that they monetize directly through live shows and merchandise.
The program initially focuses on North American artists with established catalogs aged 5-8 years and generating under 250,000 annual streams, providing these creators with immediate capital while offering long-term growth potential. Radio.com plans to scale the program globally as it develops, expanding opportunities for underserved talent worldwide.
Radio.com's proprietary distribution engine reaches nearly 220 million unique audiences in the USA, making it a powerful platform for artists seeking broader exposure and streaming growth. The platform has established itself as the go-to destination where artists break through to mainstream success and where fans discover and share new music.
"This fund represents our commitment to supporting musical talent and Radio.com's investment in driving discovery of music audiences need to hear," added Josephsen. "Radio.com is where artists go to break, and where fans go to discover. Our $10 million investment demonstrates our belief in the incredible talent that exists in the otherwise independent music community. Spotify recently announced that nearly half of the $9b it generated for the music industry went to unsigned artists and independent labels. Those are exactly who we want to help. Make Radio.com your catalog partner and let's give artists a path to commercial success and career longevity."
Artists interested in the Radio.com Artist Partnership Program can apply through Radio.com/artists. The program seeks creators with demonstrated streaming history, catalog longevity, and growth potential across multiple genres and markets.
